Rain, Rain.....

Call the Ark! 7 days straight of rain and over 20 days of below normal temps...brrrrr!
We usually don't put the fireplace into action this soon, but it has been crackling with life all week. Made pot roast and chicken noodle soup from scratch, pumpkin bread and mashed potatoes.

Comfort food to warm our bones....

Worked more on some little skirt lovelies and hope to make more this weekend. The Etsy shop
( http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=8250490 ) is up and running...no bites yet! I am eager for that first victorious sale!
Photographed more skirts this week, but the dreary weather put a damper on photo quality. May have to retake them if they don't sell. I am especially happy with this set of girly skirts...one with an Eiffel Tower print....

another in hues reminiscent of Thanksgiving and sugar maples.

Such joy in combining luscious colors!

The rain is supposed to end by Sunday and we will be planting 500 orange tulips at my husband's factory. Love the expectation of great things to come!

Until then there will be a lot more pies, soups, pork roasts and chili's cookin' in the kitchen...
